Traditional Finger Sandwiches
Served on a selection of white, granary and wholemeal bread with the following fillings:
Cool cucumber and mint
Organic egg mayo and cress
Mature cheddar cheese with fruit chutney or Smoked salmon and cream cheese
Hummus and roasted red pepper or Ham and mustard
Freshly Baked Scones
Two dainty buttered plain scones baked fresh, light gold in colour, with a soft yielding texture. These are accompanied by lashings of clotted cream and strawberry preserve.
One scrumptious French macaroon or one colourful meringue kiss
One heavenly rich chocolate brownie or one delicate fresh fruit tartlet.
Delicious Homemade Cakes
A slice of one of the following two tried cakes:
Victorian Sponge cake with a fresh cream and strawberry preserve centre, dusted with icing sugar
Lemon cake with a lemon curd centre, topped with lemon icing.
English breakfast, Green and Decaffeinated tea
Sugar and semi-skimmed milk.
